This abstract painting draws inspiration from my solo kayaking journey along the Colorado River, where I paddled 16 miles through the stunning canyons, camping between their towering walls. The artwork captures the raw spirit of this wilderness adventure, with flowing lines and rich, vibrant colors that evoke the river’s powerful movement as it carves its way through the heart of the canyon. The dynamic brushstrokes reflect the energy and serenity of nature, while the interplay of hues symbolizes the quiet strength and beauty of the landscape. Each layer of color reflects my connection to the land, the river, and the solitary moments spent in this majestic place. Created digitally on an iPad using acrylic brushes, this handmade painting combines a traditional look with modern artistry, bringing the essence of the Colorado River and its canyons to life.

Paper Prints: All paper prints come with a 0.75-inch white border on all sides. For example, if the print size is 18" x 24", the overall size of the paper print, including the border, will measure 18" x 24".
Rolled Canvas Prints: The canvas print includes a 3-inch white space on each side for stretching the canvas on a wooden frame. For example, if you order an 18" x 24" canvas print, the overall print size will be 24" x 30" (the image size will remain 18" x 24" as per your order).

You can choose to purchase a framed print or a rolled paper/canvas print to frame it yourself.
Framed paper prints come with a 0.875" wide and 0.875" high wood frame for a modern, stylish look.
Framed canvas prints come with a 1.25" canvas floating frame.
